Secondary Music Teacher / Head of Music - August 2026

We are looking to appoint an experienced Music Teacher and Head of Music to join our team in August 2026. The successful candidate will be working alongside other experienced team members to promote the strategic vision of the school and will be capable of teaching across all Secondary Key Stages. Requirements: ● Bachelor’s degree in Performing Arts or equivalent subject qualification. ● PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification. ● 3-5 years of experience delivering National Curriculum for England to students across Secondary school. ● Committed professionals who are dedicated to raising standards in alignment with the schools vision, mission and values. ● Outstanding practitioners with the ability to deliver innovative lessons built on current pedagogical thinking and forward-thing initiatives. ● Teachers with a natural desire to learn, contribute to and participate in the schools Professional Learning Community. ● Skilled at using digital tools to ensure that learning is enriched and relevant so as to complement the schools ‘Apple Distinguished School’ status. ● A professional who works collaboratively both within the immediate team and across the wider school community.
