Requirements:
Fully qualified teacher holding BEd, MEd, PGCE,QTS or equivalent
A SENCO or similar specialist teaching qualification relating to the support of those with additional needs.
Strong knowledge of inclusion strategies and local regulations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Core Responsibilities

To ensure the curriculum is delivered in an exciting and challenging way and meets the needs of individual students
Assist teachers in the development of children’s individual goals
Familiarise themselves with and work towards the child’s IEP
Maintain discretion and confidentiality where individual needs are concerned
Analyse attainment data on a regular basis with the aim of improving teaching and learning for individual pupils and cohorts.
Support teachers in developing inclusive teaching strategies.
Provide professional development and training to staff on inclusion practices.
You must always demonstrate, model and advocate the AGS Values.
