Secondary Engligh/ French Teacher

ABOUT THE POSITION The Secondary English/ French Teacher will work and maintain the classroom environment that facilitates a holistic growth for students. The subject teacher will be responsible for the planning, teaching, and learning for the specified subjects, be accountable for high standards within classroom, be collaboratively active cross department, and ensure continuously improving throughout the curriculum. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Create an inspiring and caring learning environment for students to learn and grow; • Teach French and English at secondary level; • Ensure creativities and high standard in teaching and learning; • Plan and deliver structured, engaging lessons aligned with curriculum expectations; • Ensure continuity with the Secondary curriculum and inter-disciplined approaches in daily teaching; • Strong sense of professionalism. Maintain accurate records of student achievement and progress; • Foster an atmosphere in your class and with parents that shows commitment to the well-being and growth to each student, socially and academically; • Contribute to curriculum planning, school activities, and wider school life. Actively participate in school events; • Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents. REQUIREMENTS • At least a Bachelor's Degree in relevant area. Strong subject knowledge in both French and English; • A recognized teaching qualification (eg. B.Ed., M.Ed., iPGCE, QTS/iQTS); • Two years Full-time Classroom teaching Experience in mainstream education sector is preferred; • Effective classroom management and student engagement skills; • Cambridge curriculum teaching experience is a plus, ideally with an international educational setting; • Strong sense of responsibly and pastoral care for students; • Willingness to actively engage in the academic enrichment and extra-curricular activities; • Be collaborative and effectively work as a team; • Be committed to maintaining and improving the high standards of teaching a
