The RoleCFBL is seeking a reliable, adaptable and committed Secondary Cover Teacher to provide regular cover across secondary classes. The successful candidate will supervise and support pupils’ learning during teacher absences, maintain a positive classroom environment and ensure continuity of learning. This role requires flexibility, strong classroom management and the ability to work with pupils across different subjects and year groups. Key Responsibilities• Provide cover teaching for secondary classes, from 6ème to 3ème • Supervise pupils’ learning using work and instructions provided by teaching staff • Maintain a calm, positive and purposeful classroom environment • Support pupils with their learning during cover lessons • Adapt quickly to different classes, subjects and learner profiles • Liaise with teaching staff, vie scolaire and school leadership where needed • Support pupils’ behaviour, wellbeing and safety in line with CFBL expectations • Follow all CFBL policies and procedures, including safeguarding, behaviour, health and safety, and data protection requirements Person SpecificationEssential• Teaching qualification or relevant school-based experience • Experience teaching, supervising or supporting pupils in a secondary school setting • Strong classroom management skills • Ability to adapt q
