This role is suited to UK trained Teachers with recent experience in British curriculum schools. Applicants must have a strong understanding of Assistant Head/ Director of 6th form and a proven track record within a British educational context. The School: Sharjah English School (SES) is a small, inclusive, non-for-profit school, occupying a spacious and attractive campus in close proximity to Dubai. The Role: Secondary Assistant Head: Director of Sixth Form For January 2027 we are seeking a passionate Secondary Assistant Head: Director of Sixth Form to join our team. A well-qualified, visionary, and inspirational Assistant Head: Director of Sixth Form who embodies the academic excellence, inclusive ethos, and future-focused ambition of Sharjah English School. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership for Post-16 provision. Personal Specifications: ● Qualified teacher with a minimum of two years teaching experience ● Proficient ICT user ● Awareness of innovative thinking and practice in education ● An in-depth and up to date knowledge of the English National Curriculum. ● A strong personal presence and high level interpersonal skills ● Excellent understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection policies and practices The successful candidate must have the following: ● A B.Ed or BA degree in a core subject with PGCE/ QTS. ● Proven track record in foster
