Are you passionate about inspiring students and developing their confidence and curiosity in mathematics? We are seeking a dedicated, ambitious and dynamic Second in Maths to join our successful Catholic school and support the leadership and continued development of our Mathematics department.
Working closely with the Head of Maths, you will play a key role in driving high-quality teaching and learning, supporting curriculum development, raising student achievement and contributing to the strategic direction of the department. You will help foster a culture of high expectations, collaboration and continuous improvement, ensuring all students are challenged and supported to achieve their full potential.
As a Second in Maths, you will bring enthusiasm, strong subject knowledge and a commitment to supporting colleagues as well as students. You will model excellent classroom practice, contribute to intervention and enrichment opportunities, and support the development of teaching strategies that deepen students’ mathematical understanding, resilience and problem-solving skills.
We are looking for a passionate practitioner who is committed to achieving excellent outcomes for all students, particularly the most disadvantaged, and who is eager to contribute to the wider life and Catholic ethos of the school.
