As we prepare to open our new Sixth Form in September 2026, we are expanding our team and recruiting for a Science Technician to support this exciting next phase of growth.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and reliable Science Technician to join our successful secondary school. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in supporting outstanding science teaching and inspiring students through practical learning experiences.
Working as part of our friendly STEM team, you will prepare practical resources, maintain laboratories and equipment, ensure high standards of health and safety, and provide technical support across Biology, Chemistry and Physics. You will also provide occasional support to our Food department, with full training provided.
Whether you are an experienced Science Technician or someone with strong organisational skills and a science background looking for a new challenge, we would love to hear from you.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Has a passion for science and supporting young people's learning.
Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Can work independently as well as part of a team.
Has good practical problem-solving skills.
Understands, or is willing to learn, laboratory health and safety procedures.
Is flexible, proactive and able to prioritise a varied workload.
Has good communication and IT skills.
Experience of working in a laboratory or educational environment is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided for the right candidate.
