£25,951 - £27,733 FTE per annum - £13,755 - £14,700 pro rata (dependant on experience)
Permanent; Part Time, Term time Only (0.530fte) 3 days/week (22.5 hours)
Start date: September 2026 or sooner
Are you passionate about science and skilled in practical laboratory work?
We’re looking for a Science Technician to support our Physics and Electronics curriculum.
What You’ll Do
Prepare and maintain materials and apparatus for practical lessons and demonstrations.
Ensure experiments run smoothly by setting up and testing equipment.
Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, carry out repairs, and manage stock efficiently.
Maintaining safe lab environments in accordance with CLEAPSS guidelines and COSHH regulations.
Collaborate with teaching staff on risk assessments and help students develop their lab skills.

Has a passion for working with young people, helping others and creating a positive and professional environment;
Is clear, confident and professional in their communication with other members of the team
Is able to deliver a high level of service in a busy environment
Is flexible, able to work under pressure and proactively, both independently and as part of a team.
