Northampton School (part of The NSB Trust) is looking for a versatile and enthusiastic member of staff to provide technical and administrative support for the school’s Science Department, working alongside the Lead Science technician and Head of Science. Whilst a background in Science is not essential, a strong interest is desirable. As an integral member of the technician team, you will support teachers, enabling them to deliver a first-class education and ensuring that experimental work forms a pivotal part of students’ lessons. Your main duties will include preparing experiments and demonstrations, overseeing the use, maintenance, and stockkeeping of apparatus, and ensuring compliance of safety procedures. You will also support with the ordering of stock and carrying out routine repairs to equipment.
