ROLE OVERVIEW
The Australian International School Malaysia (AISM) is seeking an experienced, NESA-registered NSW Mathematics Teacher to join our Secondary School team.
As the only international school in Malaysia delivering the New South Wales (NSW) Curriculum, we require an educator with proven expertise in delivering high-quality NSW syllabus outcomes across Stage 4 to Stage 6, including the Higher School Certificate (HSC).
I. JOB PURPOSE
The Mathematics Teacher must work to ensure the Secondary Schools are where quality programs and facilities are available for all students within its care. A teacher demonstrates initiative, leadership, flexibility, creativity and work ethic.
II. KEY RESULT AREAS/ RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide an exemplary, student-centred and technology-enhanced learning experience that engages, challenges and supports every student.
Plan, program and deliver high quality teaching and learning activities that are designed to meet the diverse needs within any class.
Maintain a safe and secure educational environment meeting appropriate standards of behaviour.
Assess and report in line with School expectations.
Undertake tasks associated with the ongoing development of the School’s curriculum.
Develop productive and respectful relationships with parents and colleagues to ensure effective learning for students at the School.
Participate in professional growth.
Contribute to the provision of a rich and diverse co-curricular experience for students in the School.
Consistently demonstrate the characteristics of an ‘Inspired and Passionate AISM teacher’.
Other duties as directed by the Principal or Head of School.
