We are currently seeking an experienced Teacher of Science to join our Science Department. This position involves teaching all three sciences to KS3 and with any specialism in KS4 and KS5 (Biology preferred), delivering engaging lessons that inspire students and promote deep understanding of scientific concepts.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or a related field (minimum requirement)
- At least 5 years of teaching experience in Science at the secondary school level
- Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum and assessment standards
- Ability to design effective lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
- Excellent classroom management skills with a focus on student engagement
- Proficient communication skills for collaborating with colleagues, students, and parents
- Experience integrating technology into science teaching is desirable
