What you’ll be doing as a Science Teacher:
Plan and deliver effective, engaging Science lessons
Support student progress and achievement
Work with support staff in lessons
Organise trips to enhance learning
Lead and develop the Science curriculum
Manage resources and budget
Promote cross-curricular links
Support staff development and lead meetings
Liaise with SENDCo, inclusion team, and Exams Officer
What we’re looking for:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
A qualification in SEND education is desirable.
Experience of working with children with SEND and ASC is ideal but applications from those working in mainstream settings are very welcome
Experience in teaching Science curriculum
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate children and young people.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to continuous professional development and innovation in teaching methods.
