School Nurse

Bishopsgate School is seeking a compassionate and proactive School Nurse to play a central role in supporting the health, safety and pastoral care of our school community. This varied and rewarding part time position combines first aid provision, pupil wellbeing, staff support and health education within a busy and friendly school environment. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day medical care for pupils and staff, coordinate first aid training, support health screening programmes, contribute to pastoral care initiatives and promote positive physical and mental wellbeing across the school. The role also involves close liaison with parents, staff and external healthcare providers. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, caring and approachable professional who enjoys working with children and thrives in a collaborative school setting. Relevant medical or first aid qualifications and experience working with young people are essential. Working hours are during published school terms, within the school day of 8:00am to 5:30pm on Thursdays, Fridays and alternate Wednesdays. Flexibility may occasionally be required for INSET days, school events and other activities outside normal school hours.
