Hours: 5 hours per week 12:00 to 13:00, Term Time only 38 weeks per year
Join Thorpe Hesley Primary School as a School Meal Supervisory Assistant and help create a safe, positive and enjoyable lunchtime experience for children aged 3 to 11.
Working from 12pm to 1pm, five days a week during term time, you will supervise pupils in the dining room and playground, support the smooth running of lunchtime routines and encourage good behaviour, table manners and positive play.
This is a varied and active role in which you will help children with their meals, including packed lunches and food trays, support pupils who may have additional needs or restricted mobility, and assist with practical duties such as cleaning tables and dealing with spillages. You will also respond calmly to incidents, administer first aid where required and work closely with colleagues to ensure pupils remain safe, supported and engaged throughout the lunchtime period.
