Our School
Rugby School Dubai (RSD) will open its doors in August 2026. It will be the next chapter of Rugby School’s legacy, where British heritage meets the UAE’s forward ambition. The school will take takes pupils from FS1-Year 13 and is in the Nad al Sheba district of Dubai. We are proud members of the Aldar Education group.
The Post
Rugby School Dubai is looking for an exceptional School Librarian to lead and develop our library provision, fostering a culture of reading, research, and lifelong learning across the school.
The successful candidate will:
Hold a relevant degree in Library and Information Science, Education, English, or a related field.
Have a minimum of two years’ experience working in a school library, educational setting, or library environment.
Demonstrate excellent knowledge of library management systems, information literacy, and contemporary library practices.
Be passionate about promoting reading for pleasure and supporting literacy development across all age groups.
Work collaboratively with teaching staff to support curriculum delivery and research skills development.
Place students at the centre of their work, creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
Be enthusiastic about professional development and continuous improvement.
Be willing to immerse themselves in school life, contributing to the wider pastoral and co-curricular programme.
