Location: Cairo, Egypt Start Date: September 2026 Contract Type: Full-time – On-site School Type: British International School Egypt British International School (EBIS) is seeking a qualified and compassionate School Counsellor to join our team for the 2026 academic year, aligned with our mission of Enriching – Exploring – Excelling and our core values of enrichment, empowerment, esteem, and excellence. We are looking for a dedicated professional who can promote student well-being, resilience, and inclusion within a nurturing, culturally grounded British-curriculum environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting students’ emotional, social, and behavioural development while working closely with families and school teams to ensure every student thrives. Requirements: ● Bachelor’s degree in Art, Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field with recognised Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). ● Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counselling, or a related field ● Recognised counselling qualification ● Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an international school setting ● Excellent command of English (spoken and written) ● Experience delivering workshops, student support programmes, and parental counselling sessions ● Strong experience working collaboratively with parents ● Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices ● Very good knowledge of a wide range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and appropriate intervention strategies ● Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills Job Description: ● Plan and deliver high-quality Art lessons aligned with National Curriculum objectives. ● Provide individual and group counselling sessions to support students’ well-being ● Design and deliver workshops on resilience, well-being, and personal development ● Offer counselling and guidance sessions for parents/guardians ● Work closely with Inclusion and Safeguarding teams to support student needs ● Develop and implement student suppor
