Paxcroft Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and forward-thinking School Business Manager to lead their team. As a member of staff within our Trust, you will contribute to a collaborative working environment and play a key role in supporting the learning and development of all pupils.
As School Business Manager, you will play a key strategic role in the leadership of the school, ensuring that finance, operations, staffing, premises and support services are managed effectively to enable the best possible outcomes for pupils. You will lead on budget planning and financial management, working closely with senior leaders to maximise resources, maintain compliance and deliver excellent value for money. The role requires you to oversee the school's operational functions, including administration, procurement, contracts, health and safety, site management and risk management, ensuring that all statutory requirements are met. You will manage and support a range of support staff, promoting high standards of performance, professional development and efficient deployment across the school. Working collaboratively with the Headteacher, Trust colleagues, governors, contractors and external agencies, you will provide expert advice and contribute to strategic decision-making. You will be expected to identify opportunities for improvement, income generation and operational efficiency while responding effectively to the day-to-day challenges of a busy school environment. Above all, you will be a proactive, organised and solutions-focused professional who is committed to supporting the school's vision and ensuring that resources are used effectively to benefit pupils and staff.
