Full Time Safeguarding and Pastoral Lead
Grade 7– £32,061 to £36,362 per annum
Hours per week, 8am – 4pm Mon-Thu, Fri 8am - 3.30pm (inc 30 mins unpaid lunchbreak)
Full-time, permanent.

We are seeking a dedicated and highly organised Safeguarding and Pastoral Lead (Primary) to play a key role in ensuring the safety, wellbeing and positive outcomes of our students in our primary Phase. This is a vital position within the school, responsible for supporting students as soon as concerns arise , being proactive in protecting children from harm and ensuring every young person has the opportunity to thrive in a safe and supportive environment.
As the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL) for the primary phase, the postholder will ensure that safeguarding concerns are managed effectively, vulnerable pupils receive timely intervention and statutory duties are discharged in accordance with keeping children safe in Education and working Together to safeguard children.
You will work proactively with pupils and families, ensuring safeguarding needs are identified early and addressed effectively so they do not become barriers to learning, wellbeing or achievement.
