About the role As our Safeguarding Manager, you will play a key role in promoting and maintaining a safe, supportive and inclusive environment for all learners. Acting as a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), you will work across the EFI Group, collaborating with internal teams, including curriculum colleagues, as well as external agencies to coordinate the effective management of safeguarding and welfare concerns. You will ensure that students are protected from harm and receive timely, appropriate support. Working proactively with students, you will help them overcome barriers to their progression by signposting and enabling access to high-quality support, while providing both proactive and reactive pastoral care. This is a varied and rewarding role within a busy environment, where you will build strong relationships with a wide range of staff and external stakeholders, always keeping the student at the heart of everything you do. You will be responsible for the administration, monitoring and progression of safeguarding referrals, maintaining accurate and confidential records, supporting risk assessment processes, and ensuring compliance with statutory safeguarding duties, EFI Group policies and sector guidance.
