Safeguarding and Welfare Co-Ordinator

Making a Difference Every Day: We are seeking a dedicated, caring, and highly organised Safeguarding and Welfare Coordinator to join our school. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual committed to improving outcomes for children and families and to ensuring that every student feels safe, supported, and able to achieve their full potential. Working closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), Senior Leaders, Heads of Year, the Teaching Team, families, and external agencies, you will play a key role in promoting student welfare, supporting vulnerable students, and strengthening the school's safeguarding culture. The person we appoint will: · Have experience working in a school. · Have a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures. · Be committed to promoting the welfare and wellbeing of children. · Build positive and effective relationships with students, families, staff, and external professionals. · Have excellent organisational, communication, and record-keeping skills. · Demonstrate resilience, empathy, discretion, and professionalism. · Be able to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
