Rugby Coach

We are looking for an enthusiastic Rugby specialist to join the Sports department at Ashfold School for the Autumn Term. The role will focus on leading our U9s and U11s through planning and delivering high quality training sessions that allow all pupils to develop. There will be a particular responsibility for managing the U9A and U11A teams at fixtures and guiding their progress throughout the season. Coaching staff will referee fixtures and should have a good knowledge of the RFU age grade regulations. The role will require creating a safe and inclusive environment, where pupils enjoy taking part in rugby and develop positive life-long habits and attitudes Approximate timings are: Mondays: 12 – 4.30pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays: 1.30pm – 4.30pm (Fixtures are Tuesdays & Wednesdays, timings may vary depending on the location). There will be additional Pre-Season training days prior to the start of term. This is a fixed term until 11 December 2026.
