RIS Phuket: Early Years Teacher

Ruamrudee International School Phuket is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to join our Early Years Department. This is a full-time position, based at Ruamrudee International School Phuket, and reporting directly to the Head of Early Years. The successful candidate will provide a nurturing, stimulating, and engaging learning environment that supports young learners in their early stages of development. The Early Years Teacher will play a key role in promoting each child’s social, emotional, and cognitive growth through developmentally appropriate teaching practices. This role also requires strong collaboration with families to ensure every child’s well-being and success. Key Responsibilities As an Early Years Teacher, you will: Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with the school’s educational philosophy Deliver engaging lessons that support early language, cognitive, motor, and social development Create a positive, inclusive classroom culture where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore Use effective classroom management strategies that promote positive behaviour and social skills Conduct ongoing assessments and observations to track student progress and development Provide regular feedback to parents on learning progress, milestones, and areas for growth Maintain strong home-school relationships through communication, conferences, and school events Differentiate learning to meet individual needs and collaborate with specialists/support staff when necessary Ensure children’s health, safety, and well-being, following all school safeguarding and safety procedures Participate in professional learning opportunities and stay informed about best practices in early childhood education Qualifications Candidates should have: A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage) A recognized teaching certification with a focus on early childhood educatio
