Residential Matron

Dean Close Kingham Hill School are seeking a caring, organised and proactive Residential Matron to join our thriving boarding community. Working closely with Houseparent’s and the wider pastoral team, you will play a key role in supporting the welfare, wellbeing and daily lives of our boarding pupils. This residential role involves providing pastoral care, maintaining a welcoming and well-presented environment, supporting pupils with day-to-day needs, and assisting with medical and safeguarding matters when required. The successful candidate will also contribute to the wider life of the school through evening and weekend duties, co-curricular activities and overnight on-call support. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a genuine commitment to young people's wellbeing, and the ability to work independently while remaining an integral part of a collaborative pastoral team.
