We are currently seeking a Resident House Parent to join our dedicated team. Position: Resident House Parent (Housemaster/Housemistress/Boarding Supervisor) Location: EF Academy Oxford, United Kingdom Experience Required: No previous experience required Job Overview: As a Resident House Parent, you will play a key role in creating a safe, welcoming, and caring home away from home for our boarding students. You will be responsible for supervising students outside of classroom hours, supporting their well-being, and fostering a positive community spirit within the boarding house. Skills and Qualifications: - No prior experience necessary; full training will be provided - Strong communication skills with both young people and adults - Ability to build trusting relationships with students from diverse backgrounds - Good organisational skills to manage daily routines and activities within the house - Basic problem-solving abilities to handle minor issues calmly and effectively Values and Attitudes: - A genuine passion for working with young people in an educational setting - Patience, empathy, and understanding towards student needs - Commitment to maintaining high standards of care and safeguarding at all times - Flexibility to adapt to changing situations or schedules as needed - Positive attitude that encourages respect, inclusivity, and teamwork among residents If you are enthusiastic about making a difference in students’ lives by providing them with guidance and support during their time at EF Academy Oxford, we would love to hear from you.
