We are seeking a Reading Intervention & Wellbeing Co‑ordinator who will play a vital role in shaping a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for both students and staff. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is committed, creative, and driven to help learners flourish academically, emotionally, and socially. Please note this role will be supporting both Parkside House School sites; Backworth NE27 0AB & Ashington NE63 8AP What You’ll Do Deliver engaging reading interventions that build fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary. Support students with SEND, SEMH, and additional needs to thrive. Promote a positive reading culture and adapt resources to engage diverse learners. Lead wellbeing initiatives for students and staff, acting as a wellbeing ambassador across sites. Collaborate with staff and external partners to create an inclusive, supportive environment. Monitor progress and wellbeing data to inform practice and improve provision. Signpost staff to appropriate support services and contribute to whole‑school wellbeing pathways. What We’re Looking For GCSE's or equivalent required Is passionate about literacy and wellbeing. Has experience supporting students with diverse needs. Communicates with warmth, clarity, and confidence. Can build strong relationships with students,
