Anton Bruckner International School is seeking to recruit an experienced, flexible, and capable PYP Learning Support Teacher to start in September 2026. The PYP Learning Support Teacher must hold a recognized teaching qualification in learning support or something similar. The Learning Support Teacher supports students with identified learning needs through Individual Learning Plans (ILPs), targeted interventions, and in-class support. Working collaboratively with teachers and leadership, the role contributes to inclusive practices and the ongoing development of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) within the IB PYP.
Skills and Qualifications
Qualified degree (Master’s preferred)
Recognized teaching qualification in home country
Two years minimum experience
Experience supporting children with diverse learning needs across a range of contexts
Commitment to ongoing IB and other professional development
Willingness to develop and promote a growing school, staff, and student body
Experience in an international school context is essential; IB experience preferable
Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion
Experience with, or understanding of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) desirable
Have a high level of fluency and accuracy in both spoken and written English and preferably German
Be able to provide a background check (criminal record)

Provide targeted support through in-class, small group, and short-term individual interventions
Lead sessions outside the classroom (1:1 and small group) where appropriate
Collaborate with professionals to assess and identify student needs
