We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate PYP Homeroom Teacher to join our team. This position involves teaching the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) at the elementary/primary school level. Position: PYP Homeroom Teacher Location: Iraq Curriculum: IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) Education Stage: Elementary/Primary School Position Type: Full-time Teacher Responsibilities: - Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the IB PYP framework. - Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and development. - Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback. - Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support students’ academic and social growth. - Participate actively in professional development opportunities. Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelor Honours Degree in Education or related field (minimum requirement). - At least 2 years of teaching experience, preferably within an IB PYP setting. - Strong understanding of the IB Primary Years Programme philosophy and practices. - Excellent communication skills in English; additional language skills are an advantage. - Ability to create dynamic lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
