About this role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and compassionate Lead First Aider & Reception Administrator to join our dedicated support team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about supporting the health, wellbeing and safety of young people. The successful candidate will lead the school's first aid and medical provision, develop and maintain Individual Healthcare Plans, work closely with families and external professionals, and contribute to the school's safeguarding and welfare work through the analysis of health and wellbeing trends. The role also includes providing reception and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the school office.
As the school's designated Lead First Aider, you will play a key role in ensuring pupils receive high-quality care and support, helping to create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
About the Role
The successful candidate will:
Lead and coordinate the school's first aid and medical provision.
Develop and maintain Individual Healthcare Plans (IHPs) for pupils with medical needs.
Liaise closely with parents, carers, health professionals and external agencies.
Monitor medical, welfare and first aid trends and work alongside the safeguarding team to identify emerging concerns.
Coordinate first aid training and maintain training records for staff.
Provide a professional, welcoming and efficient reception service.
Support the wider administration and day-to-day operation of the school office.
