About this role
Contract Type: Full Time (37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8.30–4.30, Friday 8.30–4.00), 39 weeks per year.
Salary: £22,421 to £23,960 per annum (Point 7 to Point 10 on the SFCA NJC Support Staff Pay Scale: £25,951 to £27,733 per annum FTE)

What you'll be doing:
Supporting students in the applications process by mentoring application quality and Personal Statement writing.
Delivering PD sessions.
Supporting students in their career and progression planning and advising on how to access guidance on making informed choices.
Monitoring the attendance of students in line with college targets, setting improvement targets for students where necessary.
Establishing a tutor group identity and a rapport with their individual students.
What we're looking for:
Knowledge of post-16 education and options at 18
Awareness of key Safeguarding issues relating to young people.
Educated to degree level.
Good interpersonal, organisational and administrative skills
Ability to build strong, professional relationships with students, staff, and families.
