Halesowen College wishes to appoint an enthusiastic and supportive person who can be responsible for student mentoring, monitoring and intervention as part of a team of Progress Coaches, supporting students’ induction, performance, progress and progression, and liaising with the A-level team to design and deliver a tutorial programme. The appointed person would be responsible for a caseload of students and would work with them in tutorial groups and on a one-to-one basis. Daily activities would include tracking and monitoring student attendance and supporting students with their academic progress and/or general wellbeing, setting high standards for their behaviour and engagement. The role will also require Progress Coaches to support students with enrichment, work experience, university/apprenticeship/job applications and preparing them for life post college.
