ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Programme Tutor in Maths, you will deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment that supports students to achieve their full potential. You will create engaging and inclusive lessons, track progress, and provide tailored support to ensure all learners — including those with SEND — develop the skills and confidence needed for future success.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role you will:
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Maths lessons that meet curriculum and awarding body requirements
Monitor student progress, attendance, and achievement, taking action to address any concerns
Provide clear targets and timely, constructive feedback to support learner development
Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners, including those with SEND
Contribute to quality assurance processes, including standardisation and continuous improvement activities
Carry out duties in line with College policies and procedures, including safeguarding and equality commitments
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
Qualified teacher (or working towards) with a strong Maths subject background
Experience delivering teaching in a learning environment, ideally within Further Education
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire learners
Ability to differentiate teaching to support a range of learner needs
Organised and proactive,
