Principal of Primary School

Evergreen International School, is an educational institution opening in Siem Reap Cambodia at the end of August 2026. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Principal to join our team and play a key role in establishing our new school from the ground up and growing with us. The ideal candidate is calm, compassionate, and deeply committed to education. This individual will bring both leadership and vision, with a genuine desire to support the academic growth of students while also fostering strong moral character and values within the school community in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Position: Principal – Primary School Education Stage: Elementary/Primary School Curriculum: United Kingdom Location: Siem Reap, Cambodia Job Description: As the Principal of the Primary School, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and development of the primary section. You will work closely with teachers, staff, students, and parents to create a positive learning environment that promotes academic excellence and personal growth. Your role includes curriculum development, overseeing curriculum implementation, staff professional development, student welfare, and community engagement. Skills and Qualifications: - Master’s Degree in Education or related field - At least 3 years of experience in school leadership or senior teaching roles - At least 5 years of teaching experience - Experience in an international school setting - Curriculum development experience - Strong understanding of UK primary education standards and assessment methods - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, staff, and stakeholders - Ability to lead teams successfully while fostering collaboration among faculty members - Competence in managing budgets, resources planning, and administrative duties related to school operations - Commitment to continuous professional development Values and Attitudes: - Passionate about delivering
