About this role
The Primary Teacher (KS1/KS2) plans and delivers lessons in line with the British National Curriculum, supporting pupils’ academic and personal development. The role includes maintaining a well-managed and positive classroom, assessing and tracking progress, and adapting teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including EAL students. The teacher works closely with colleagues and support staff, communicates effectively with parents, and contributes to school life while following all school policies, including safeguarding and child welfare.
Qualifications And Skills
Bachelor’s degree in education or relevant subject (English, Mathematics or Science)
Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS or equivalent)
Experience teaching the British National Curriculum (KS1 and/or KS2)
Strong classroom management and organisational skills
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
Experience with assessment, tracking and reporting student progress
