About this role
We are seeking to appoint an Foundation Stage and Primary Inclusion Teacher from August 2026. The Inclusion Teacher role will include:
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across the school
Develop, implement, and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Support Plans, ensuring targets are SMART and outcomes measurable
Deliver outstanding, motivating, and challenging interventions for students with a range of additional needs
Ensure personalised, purposeful SEND provision in line with EYFS, the National Curriculum, and KHDA expectations
Collaborate with class teachers to plan, adapt, and enhance provision for students with additional needs
Monitor student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and analyse data to inform planning and provision
Liaise effectively with parents, therapists, and external specialists to support student outcomes
Demonstrate in-depth understanding of KHDA and UAE inclusion guidelines to ensure compliance
Lead professional development opportunities to build staff capacity in inclusive practice
Research, implement, and share best practice through professional networking
Essential Skills & Competencies
Hold a relevant Bachelor's Degree
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Demonstrate strong knowledge of SEND and inclusive education practices
Demonstrate understanding of a range of evidence-based interventions to deliver effective group and 1:1 sessions
Recognise and support early identification of a wide range of learning needs
Apply knowledge of early literacy and mathematics skill development to targeted interventions
Deliver Read Write Inc interventions effectively to small groups of students
Apply effective behaviour management strategies to support positive outcomes
Track and monitor student progress using data to inform provision
Collaborate and co-teach effectively with classroom teachers
