Job Title:  Primary Teacher
Location:  Heath Farm School, Ashford, Kent, TN27 0AX
Hours:      35 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 8.30am - 4.30pm
Salary:      Up to £40,000 per annum (depending on experience, not pro rata)
Contract:  Fixed Term- till March 2027 | Term Time Only
Start:        September 2026

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons across the primary curriculum that meet the individual needs of every learner.
  • Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom where pupils feel valued, supported and motivated to succeed.
  • Use a range of assessment strategies to monitor progress, celebrate achievements and adapt teaching to maximise outcomes.
  • Promote positive behaviour through consistent, trauma-informed and restorative approaches.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and external professionals to provide the very best support for every pupil.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, school improvement initiatives and the wider life of the school.
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of all pupils, ensuring their wellbeing remains at the heart of everything you do.

What you will bring

  • QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • A genuine passion for helping children with complex needs and diverse learning styles thrive.
  • A creative, flexible and adaptable approach to teaching.
  • A positive, resilient and collaborative attitude.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and delivering outstanding outcomes.
  • Driving licence required.
