About the RoleThe Primary Music Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality Music lessons across the primary phase, ensuring excellent standards of teaching, learning and student achievement. The successful candidate will: Deliver inspiring Music lessons to students across the Primary School. Design engaging learning experiences that develop pupils' musical skills through singing, instrumental performance, composition, listening and appreciation. Foster creativity, confidence and enjoyment of music in all learners. Track, assess and support student progress and attainment. Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment. Plan and deliver practical music lessons using a range of instruments and musical resources. Organise and lead performances, concerts, assemblies and other musical events throughout the school year. Contribute to curriculum planning and the continued development of the Music curriculum. Support the academic, creative and personal growth of students. Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents and students to achieve outstanding outcomes.
