Post 16 Teaching Assistant

This vacancy at The Axis Academy is an outstanding and unique opportunity for the right person to become a fully functional, multiskilled member of a highly inclusive and collaborative team that strives to change the lives of children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH) through all that we do. You will be working in our newly formed Post 16 provision which supports pupils who require more time and support as they move into post 16. Within this group, pupils have a wide variety of needs, both academic and SEMH. Therefore, the successful candidate needs to have a flexible, creative approach to learning and the ability to form positive therapeutic relationships with all pupils.
