Pianist - Musician in Residence

This is an exciting opportunity to develop your musicianship while inspiring the next generation of Pianists at Bromley High School. We are seeking an accomplished and engaging Pianist to join our flourishing Music Department as a Musician in Residence. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone interested in working in education or developing a professional performance career. Working in our purpose-built All-Steinway Music School—the first and only all-girls’ school in the world to hold this status—you will accompany choirs, soloists and ensembles, preparing pupils for concerts, examinations and other events. You will also support our extensive co-curricular programme, help develop the school’s Piano provision and masterclass series, mentor Music Scholars, and contribute to classroom music and outreach activities. You will be an inspirational Pianist and musician with a Music degree, normally at 2:1 or above, and a genuine interest in working with young people. Dynamic, enthusiastic and approachable, you will bring the professionalism, creativity and personal drive to nurture pupils at every stage of their musical development. This role is for a fixed term period for one year, starting in October 2026. The core working hours are 8 am to 2 pm Monday to Friday, during term time only.
