Position Overview:
We are seeking a Science teacher with a specialism or strong interest in teaching Physics to join our Middle & Senior School team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Australian curriculum, support student development in physics skills, and contribute positively to our vibrant school community.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or Science or related field (minimum requirement)
- At least 3 years of teaching experience in secondary/high school physics using the Australian curriculum preferred
- Strong knowledge of current teaching methodologies for physics education at the secondary level
- Ability to plan, prepare, and deliver effective lessons that meet diverse student needs
- Excellent classroom management skills with a focus on creating an inclusive learning environment
- Proficient in integrating technology into teaching practices
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with students, parents, and colleagues

Minimum Qualifications
-Bachelor's Degree in Education, or Degree in Speciality plus Diploma of Education
-Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience
-Current Teacher Registration in home country, including relevant Police Checks
