South View School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Male Teacher of Physical Education - Secondary to join our ambitious and expanding Sports Department.
Sport is central to school life at South View. We deliver a structured PE curriculum alongside a growing competitive sports programme, including inter-school fixtures, standalone tournaments and BSME participation. We are looking for a teacher who can contribute both within curriculum PE and through squad coaching.
The Role
Teach high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 & 5.
Contribute to our competitive sports programme.
Lead and develop school teams.
Support fixtures, tournaments and sports events.
Promote high standards of commitment, behaviour and sportsmanship.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold a relevant degree and recognised teaching qualification.
Have experience teaching PE within a British or international curriculum.
Have proven experience in volleyball and/or football coaching, with the ability to develop competitive teams.
Experience teaching BTEC and GCSE PE.
Be passionate about raising performance standards while maintaining inclusive participation.
Demonstrate excellent organisational skills, adaptability, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Demonstrate commitment to safeguarding.
