PE Teacher (Football Specialism) From January 2027 Cranmore has a long tradition of excellent sports teaching with a commitment to sports for all. We seek to appoint an ambitious, enthusiastic and highly motivated sports teacher who possesses a passion and commitment to helping every pupil enjoy sport and achieve success. In the Senior school, football is played in the Spring term. In the Prep school, football is played from September, changing to rugby until shortly after the spring half term and then hockey. In the summer term the focus turns to cricket, tennis and athletics. Throughout the year, other sports are also introduced including swimming, squash, rowing and golf. For pupils with high athletic ability and commitment there is swim squad, ski squad and a structured sports scholarship programme. Pupil have a number of weekly timetabled sports lessons, supplemented by after school training for individual year groups and an extensive fixture programme including tournaments and festivals.
