Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field with recognised Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
● A minimum of 2 years of successful teaching experience, preferably within an international British-curriculum context.
● Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Physical Education.
● Ability to deliver a broad range of sports and physical activities across Key Stages.
● Experience organising fixtures, tournaments, and school sporting events.
● Skilled in positive behaviour management and fostering teamwork and respect.
● Strong organisational, communication, and collaboration skills.
Job Description:
● Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons aligned with National Curriculum objectives.
● Promote physical fitness, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship.
● Ensure a safe and inclusive environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
● Assess, monitor, and record student progress in physical development and skill acquisition.
● Organise and lead extracurricular sports clubs, teams, and competitive fixtures.
● Collaborate with colleagues on whole-school initiatives and sports events.
● Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding participation and progress.
