Bishopsgate School are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring Teacher of Girls’ Games & PE to join their thriving school community as part of their successful Sports Department. There is some flexibility for this position to be part time, with the days and time to be coordinate with the sport and games timetable. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented teacher who is passionate about sport, physical education and pupil development. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting a positive sporting culture across the school through the delivery of high-quality PE and Games lessons and the coaching and refereeing school fixtures. Working closely with the Director of Sport, they will support the girls’ games programme and contribute to the organisation of sporting events and competitions. The role also includes monitoring pupil progress, reporting to parents, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to the wider pastoral and supervisory life of the school.
The ideal candidate will possess expertise in one or more girls' games disciplines (netball, hockey, cricket or football) as well as being an excellent practitioner with strong organisational and communication skills. A a commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare, and a willingness to contribute fully to school life, including occasional weekend tournaments and sporting events.
