Payroll Officer

The Finance Department is seeking to appoint an organised and detail-focused Payroll Officer to join the team. This is an important role within the Foundation, with responsibility for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of the monthly payroll. Working as part of a busy and collaborative Finance Team, the Payroll Officer will take ownership of the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring that staff are paid accurately and on time, payroll records are maintained, and all statutory reporting requirements are completed in line with current legislation. The successful candidate will have proven experience of delivering end-to-end payroll processing, ideally within a complex organisation. They will have excellent attention to detail, strong numerical skills and the ability to manage deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy. In addition, they will have a good understanding of payroll legislation, pensions and statutory reporting requirements, together with experience of working with finance and payroll systems.
