About the Role:
Peterhouse Primary Academy is a welcoming and inclusive school serving a diverse community. Many of our children and families face a range of social and economic challenges and we recognise the important role that strong pastoral and family support can play in helping every child to thrive.
The Pastoral Support Assistant will play a key role in supporting the wellbeing and engagement of pupils, helping to identify and overcome barriers that may affect their learning or experience of school. The role will also include working directly with parents and carers, providing practical support, guidance and a positive link between home and school.
Working closely with colleagues and external agencies, the role provides an opportunity to make a real and lasting difference to children and their families. It is a varied and rewarding position, at the heart of our school community, with relationships and early support central to the work.

Working Hours
The successful candidate will work Monday-Friday 08:30-15:30 (with 2 x 30 minute breaks each day)
