About this role
Dinnington High School is looking for a personable Pastoral Leader to join us on a permanent basis.
In this role, you will provide key pastoral support to school staff across various subject areas, facilitating effective teaching and learning that will help our students to succeed. As a Pastoral Leader, you will be required to lead and manage the delivery of pastoral support for an allocated Year Group, whilst maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Working closely with our strong Pastoral team, you will develop and monitor strategies and procedures for improving and maintaining student behaviour and conduct.
Candidates should be suitably skilled in numeracy, literacy and ICT and have GCSE passes in English and Mathematics at grade C or above (or equivalent). You will also need proven experience of working with children and young people, as well as strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
