Bacon’s achievements were recognised by Ofsted in June 2022 when we received a grading of ‘Good’ overall and in every area. In 2024 our GCSE outcomes were our best ever with 56% of students achieving grade 5+ in English and Maths and a P8 of +0.4. Our VI form results were excellent with 58% of grades at A*-B. Pastoral Assistant Location: Bacon’s College, London, SE16 Salary: United Learning Support Staff Pay Scale 39 weeks a year. 37.5 hours a week Closing Date: Thursday 30 July The role To provide administrative and practical assistance for the Heads of Year and Vice Principal across a key stage, in promoting student well-being to improve learning, in conjunction with form tutors, subject teachers, Heads of Department and the SENDCO as appropriate.
