Pastoral Assistant

Pastoral Assistant NJC Grade 5, SCP 7-11 £22,314-£22,819 37 hours per week/38.2 weeks (Term-time only plus 1 inset day) We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated person to the above role for a September start. The successful candidate will build positive relationships with pupils, providing all aspects of pastoral support. They will assist the head of a specific year group in matters relating to attendance, punctuality, organisation and administration. In addition, the postholder will provide first aid and medical supervision to all lower school students. The duties of the post are varied and include some periods supporting in the behaviour room, liaising with other staff, parents/guardians and external agencies. The hours of work are 08:00 to 16:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00-15:30 on a Friday. Please refer to the job description and specification for further information.
