Part Time Sports Coach

Sherborne Schools Group is seeking a Sports Coach to join the team at Sherborne Girls, playing an active role in delivering a varied and engaging sports programme. Based primarily at the school, the role also offers opportunities to contribute more widely across the Group and to support activity at other sites when required. The successful candidate will work closely with the sports department to support pupils across a range of sports, including lacrosse, hockey, netball, cricket and tennis, helping them to build confidence, develop their skills and enjoy competitive sport at a level that suits them. Alongside coaching teams and individuals, the role involves preparing pupils for fixtures, supporting pre-season training, and ensuring a safe and positive environment for all participants. There is also scope to contribute to wider school life through co-curricular activities, promoting sport within the community, and celebrating pupil achievement. This is a role for someone who enjoys being involved, takes pride in developing others, and wants to help create a sporting environment where participation and ambition sit side by side. You will develop a joy for sport in all individuals and continually seek opportunities to drive and improve the reputation of Sherborne Girls on a local and national level.
