The Governors of H3 Federation are looking to appoint a dynamic and highly skilled Outreach Mentor to join the outstanding staff team at Heath School.

Following a successful first year, Heath School's Outreach Programme is entering an exciting next phase of development from September 2026. Working as part of Camden's developing Experts at Hand approach, our Outreach Team works alongside mainstream schools, families and other professionals to provide earlier, targeted support for young people at risk of disengagement or exclusion.
You'll work with young people at an earlier stage, helping to address barriers before difficulties escalate and supporting them to remain successfully engaged in mainstream education.
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Outreach Mentor to join our team and work across secondary schools, supporting pupils who are at risk of exclusion.
In this vital role, you will:
Provide one-to-one mentoring to young people in secondary school settings
Build positive, trusting relationships to help students overcome barriers to learning and wellbeing
Collaborate with school staff, families, and external professionals to develop and deliver support plans
Act as a role model, motivator, and advocate to improve outcomes for vulnerable young people
We are looking for someone who:Has experience supporting young people with complex needs
Understands the challenges facing students in today’s educational environment
Communicates effectively and works collaboratively with schools and other agencies
Is resilient, compassionate, and solution-focused
Can travel to multiple school sites as required
